Your Questions. Answered.
Q: How long does it take for my term(s) to get ranked on a search engine?
A: Each package is unique.
Q: Why am I ranked high on Google, but not Yahoo/Bing or vice versa?
A: Each search engine has a different way of ranking results through complex algorithms. The strategies that we use will result in your site appearing highly ranked on all of the top search engines. Yahoo and Bing tend to take a longer time to report backlinks, which will result in a longer time to see positive ranking results.
Q: What is link building? Where do you get links from?
A: Link building is a process in which links are created on an external website that direct people and search engine crawlers to your website. Zoodle builds links on highly relevant, authoritative websites, which will increase the rankings of your website naturally.
Q: When will I see more sales/leads through my website?
A: If we are running a pay-per-click campaign for you, you will start to receive conversions within 1 month. If we are running an organic campaign for you, you will begin to see more conversions up to 6 to 12 months. The best approach is to perform both types of campaigns to provide optimal coverage.
Q: How does Zoodle determine the best keywords for my campaign?
A: In most cases, the best keywords are targeted, long-tail keywords that have less competition and higher relevancy. However, using broad terms may be useful depending on the desired result. (e.g., branding vs. e-commerce)
Q: Keywords that get more searches per month are always better, right?
A: No! A term that gets more searches per month also has a LOT of competition, and is typically not as relevant to your business.
For example:
If you own a snow removal business in Buffalo, "snow removal buffalo ny" would be a much better keyword than "snow removal." Even though "snow removal" gets 100 thousand searches per month, it is not specific enough. The 50 searches per month from "snow removal buffalo ny" will have a higher conversion rate.
Q: Should I focus on organic SEO, or a Pay-Per-Click campaign?
A: A Pay-Per-Click campaign will produce quicker results, while optimizing for organic search is considered a long term, stable investment. The best results can be obtained by running a pay-per-click campaign while optimizing your website for organic search.
Q: Do Pay-Per-Click ads effect organic search rankings?
A: No. This is a common misconception. Pay-Per-Click ads have no direct effect on organic search rankings.
Q: How do I check my rankings?
A: Our customers are sent reports weekly and also receive a login to check their reports online at their leisure . If you are not receiving these reports or you are having trouble logging in, please contact your project coordinator.
Q: Can my results be tracked? How about conversions?
A: Absolutely! Unlike traditional marketing, digital marketing allows you to track everything. We use analytical software that can measure both traffic and conversions on your website.
Q: How can I increase my website's conversion rate?
A: There are many factors that affect conversion rate. To learn more about increasing conversion rate, check out our blog article "10 Best Ways to Increase Conversions."
Q: Why do I need a sitemap?
A: Sitemaps make it easier for search engines to crawl your website. They provide a simple outline of every page on your website. Your site should have both an HTML and XML sitemap.
Q: Why are my rankings going down?
A: This question almost always comes up during the first 90 days of an SEO campaign. There will be a lot of fluctuation during the first 90 days, especially if new pages were created, if the website is fairly new and if links are being built to newly created pages. Your website pages will fluctuate a lot when starting an SEO campaign because its new and it doesn't have the authority yet to be stabilized.
