If you sell a product or service locally then Geo targeted keywords will be extremely valuable to your business.

Geo targeted keywords are phrases that target a specific geographic region.

For example:

Psychological Testing Pasadena CA or Cosmetic Dentist Buffalo, NY

What makes these geo is the fact that they have Pasadena CA and Buffalo NY in them. Geo targeted keywords are most useful because many times people are looking for products and services in their home town.

These keywords generally have lower search competition and higher converting traffic. <--This is good!

If geo targeting make sense for your products or services make sure you include them in your SEO campaigns.
