Want to convert more of your website visitors? In most cases, it is usually some minor tweaks that will make a huge difference.
- Don’t make visitors think about what they have to do next once they get to your page.
- Stop talking about the features and focus on the benefits.
Eg. You don’t sell drill bits, you sell the smooth holes they create. - Lose the technical talk. Your visitors are human, so talk to them like humans.
- Personalize your message on your pages. Utilizing the word “you” is a good way to invoke personal emotion.
Eg. “XYZ product will help you manage your business.” - People buy based on emotion. Write your content so that it hits home with your visitors.
- Turn all of your products/services into propositions. People do not buy products, they buy solutions.
- Write compelling content on each of your landing pages.
- Create a call to action on each of your landing pages.
- Add a way to capture an action on each page.
Eg. Lead form, free consultation, buy now, etc. - Keep most of your good content above the fold. It takes less than 8 seconds before a visitors decides they don't like what they see.
Hope this helps. I have many more to come.
